1986
(1987) Acquisition of first printing press, a single color AB Dick Originally named Dublin Business Services, the company was founded in 1986 by Wayne and Mary Jo Booker. With just two employees, they offered hi-speed copy, word processing and the precursor to desk-top publishing services. Their first office was in the Headlee Building on Corbins Mill Drive in Dublin, Ohio.
(1988) Hired first outside salesperson Bill Schaefer
1990
Opened first satellite office on Riverside Drive in Columbus, Ohio.
(1990) Opened production facility on Old Avery Road in Dublin, Ohio.
(1990) Purchased first color copier, a Canon 200 which could make 4 copies per minute.
(1994) Acquired first digital color printing system, including first Mac computer.

(1995) Moved sales office on Corbins Mill Drive to production facility on Old Avery Road.
1995
(1995) Bought Presto Print, giving Dublin Business Services a satellite office in Westerville, Ohio.
(1996) Dublin Business Services changes name to Colortech.
(1999) Colortech buys Ohio Press, significantly expanding Colortech’s printing and bindery capabilities. This acquisition required a further expansion of the production space on Old Avery Road.

(2000) Purchased first Direct-to-Plate imaging system

(2006) Colortech acquired by Intelli-Source, Ltd., a document technology holding company

(2005) Significantly expands in-house direct-mail capabilities with automated zip code sort, CASS certification and direct address imprinting.
